This list covers core materials required for PCB (Printed Circuit Board) manufacturing, suitable for prototype production, small-batch manufacturing, and electronic product assembly. All materials comply with industry standards for stability and compatibility.
1. Substrate Materials (Core Materials)
The substrate is the foundation of PCB, providing mechanical support and electrical insulation. Common types include:

FR-4 Epoxy Resin Substrate - Spec: 0.4mm/0.6mm/0.8mm/1.0mm/1.6mm thickness; Copper foil weight: 1oz/2oz. Features: Flame-retardant (UL94 V-0), excellent mechanical strength and electrical insulation. Application: Universal PCBs for consumer electronics, industrial controls, and communication devices.

Aluminum Substrate - Spec: 1.0mm-3.0mm thickness; Thermal conductivity: ≥1.0 W/(m·K). Features: Superior heat dissipation. Application: High-power PCBs (LED drivers, power supplies, automotive electronics).

Rogers High-Frequency Substrate - Model: Rogers 4350B/4003C; Dielectric constant (Dk): 3.48-4.5. Features: Low signal loss, stable performance at high frequencies. Application: RF circuits, microwave devices, aerospace electronics.
2. Conductive Materials
Used to form circuit paths, pads, and through-holes, ensuring electrical connectivity.

Copper Foil - Type: Electrolytic Copper Foil (ECF)/Rolled Copper Foil (RCF); Weight: 0.5oz-4oz. Application: Inner and outer layers of PCB circuits. RCF is suitable for flexible PCBs and high-reliability products.

Solder Paste - Alloy: Sn63/Pb37 (Lead-containing)/SAC305 (Lead-free, Sn96.5Ag3.0Cu0.5); Viscosity: 100-200 Pa·s. Application: Soldering surface mount components (SMDs) to PCB pads.

Electroplating Copper Solution - Composition: Copper sulfate, sulfuric acid, additives. Application: Plating through-holes and surface circuits to enhance conductivity and corrosion resistance.

Silver Paste - Spec: Conductivity ≥1.0×10⁵ S/cm. Application: High-conductivity paths for thick-film PCBs and LED circuits.
3. Insulation & Protective Materials
Protect PCB circuits from moisture, dust, oxidation, and mechanical damage.

Solder Mask Ink - Color: Green/Black/Red/Blue/Yellow; Type: Liquid Photoimageable Solder Mask (LPSM). Features: UV-curable, acid-resistant, and insulation. Application: Cover non-conductive areas of PCB to prevent short circuits during soldering.

Silkscreen Ink - Type: Epoxy-based; Color: White/Black. Features: Wear-resistant, clear printing. Application: Printing component labels, reference marks, and company logos on PCB surface.

4. Adhesive Materials
Used for bonding layers in multi-layer PCBs and attaching components.

Prepreg (Pre-impregnated Material) - Resin type: Epoxy; Basis weight: 7628/2116/1080. Features: Bonds substrate layers under heat and pressure, fills gaps. Application: Multi-layer PCB lamination.

Double-Sided Adhesive Tape - Type: Acrylic/Polyimide; Thickness: 0.05mm-0.2mm. Features: High adhesion, temperature resistance. Application: Attaching flexible PCBs (FPC) to rigid substrates or enclosures.
5. Drilling & Finishing Materials
Auxiliary materials for PCB processing and surface treatment.

Drill Bits - Material: Tungsten Carbide; Diameter: 0.1mm-6.35mm. Application: Drilling through-holes, blind holes, and buried holes in PCBs.

Surface Finish Materials - Options: • HASL (Hot Air Solder Leveling): Lead-containing/lead-free, low cost, good solderability. • ENIG (Electroless Nickel Immersion Gold): Corrosion-resistant, flat surface, suitable for fine-pitch components. • OSP (Organic Solderability Preservative): Environmentally friendly, thin film, cost-effective.
